Welcome to the Northern
Ireland Branch Suffolk Sheep Society website.
Our branch consists of
217 members spread throughout the six counties. Our main aim is to
promote the Suffolk breed and encourage breeders to produce
quality stock suitable for both pure and commercial
breeding.
As we aim to be
responsive to market demands, we are involved in an initiative with
Greenmount
and Enniskillen agricultural colleges through the
L.A.M.B.S. project. Our committee organise many events
throughout the year, carcass and spring lamb competitions, branch
championships, stock judging and a flock competition.
